Structure & Outline

Module 1: Defining Meditation

To kick off the program, we will take the time to define the goal of having a regular practice of going inward. Diving into what it means to be practicing meditation and the many ways to do it!

Module 2: What is Mindfulness?

Meditation and mindfulness are often used interchangeably which makes fully understanding what these words mean difficult. We will discuss the differences between the two with examples of each.

Module 3: Awareness & Focus

This module is all about centering our awareness and keeping our mind focused. Building these takes practice, dedication, and consistency just like building our physical muscles.

Module 4: Breathing Techniques

Even though it is something we do automatically without thought, our breath has a huge effect on our nervous system. There are many ways we can incorporate this knowledge into a meditation practice.

Module 5: Your Mind & Thoughts

In this module, we will dive more into the nature of our mind and thoughts. This will deepen our understanding of the chatter of the thinking brain and how to start to work with it instead of against it!

Module 6: Visualizations

Our imagination is a powerful tool that we can use by visualizing things with our ‘mind’s eye’. There are many ways we can incorporate this practice to support the tasks we do daily and even our goals.

Module 7: Body Scans

This technique is great to start to tap into the wisdom that is within the body and to relax. When we are aware and tuning in to it instead of over riding it, our body has a lot of information to offer us.

Module 7: Creating a Personal Practice

Now that we have learned each of these techniques and parts of meditation in more depth, we are able to create a personal practice that seamlessly integrates into our daily life with ease and grace.

You will also get practices to try out yourself with recorded meditations to guide you. As well as access to our private Facebook group with weekly live meditations.

This program is created for all levels of meditators! Whether you are a beginner just getting started or a seasoned practitioner, this course will help you take your practice deeper and integrate new ways of adding awareness into your daily life.

The content was created in a way that is broken down into seven modules. You can do one module per day for the seven days, although you are welcome to take longer or even revisit meditations and practices as needed.
